This is a nice newly updated Japanese market with a food court. There is a good amount of seating for the food court but I did not eat at this one. They have a good selection of goods here a long with housewares as well. It is smaller than Mitsuwa but still just as nice. The last thing at the check out the cashier said arigato gozaimasu which adds a really nice touch like you are somewhere else. It was really interesting to hear.

We've been to Tensuke Market Food Court a couple of times over the past few years, and it feels like an underrated spot compared to the H Mart Food Court. If you're looking for quick eats while doing some Asian grocery shopping, it's definitely worth checking out. One thing I really like is that finding a table isn't difficult. They have a separate dining hall with plenty of long tables and seating, plus a free-refill miso soup station and a water station for convenience. Pricing here is noticeably lower compared to Hmart. The udon noodle soup is a family favorite, especially for our kids and moms. At Hmart, a bowl of this would run about $15-16 but here for $12.50, you get a generous bowl plus a side like two egg rolls or gyoza, and a small miso soup bowl with seaweed and tofu (you can refill the miso soup at the station). If you skip the side, you save about $1. The Godzilla roll is also a great deal--eight large pieces for about $14. My oldest loved it and was completely full from the sushi. They also offer poke bowls and teriyaki rice plates, which my husband ordered during our visit. My only gripe is that many of the dishes tend to be on the salty side--they could definite

I rarely write reviews recently however I’m so disappointed with their food. They got my order wrong the first time, too. This isn’t my first time. I’ve been to their old location, I was here a couple of weeks ago when they re-opened (almost everything was sold out in their menu for a Sunday lunch), and back recently. I ordered their Tonkatsu and it looked really sad. It didn’t look too crispy on the outside and also looked so pale. It wasn’t just mine. I noticed it right away when I was in line when they have peoples orders out, but I took a shot cause it was not that busy anymore. Plus! They’ll only give you a small packet of tonkatsu sauce. I do get it’s like a fast food concept but not good quality. Also, their white rice is a combination of half cooked, cooked and mushy. On a good note, their takoyaki is really good!

I’ve been a regular here for a while, usually coming in whenever I wanted decent Japanese food at a fair price. The new location is definitely more spacious and comfortable, but honestly, my first visit since the move was a huge letdown. The quality has taken a serious hit. The sushi rice (shari) had absolutely no flavor, and the fish toppings (neta) have noticeably shrunk. The curry tonkatsu was the worst part—it tasted worse than a cheap frozen meal. I’m honestly convinced they just reheated something pre-packaged and served it. Even the ginger dressing on the salad was off-putting enough to ruin my appetite. The only thing that’s still decent is the self-serve miso soup. Maybe the kitchen is still trying to find its rhythm after the move, but the food was so disappointing that I actually found myself muttering "What happened to this place?" while glancing into the kitchen on my way out. I might give it one more shot down the road, but they need to make some serious changes fast. If the food stays like this, this nice new food court is going to be empty.

We love Tensuke’s new location right beside the old one! The new food court is beautifully designed—clean, modern, and with a natural, organic feel that makes the whole place so pleasant to dine in. The food is affordable, good quality, and always satisfying. I had my regular gyudon, my hubby got the salmon roll, and we shared the beef udon. We also love that the meals come with unlimited miso soup refills, plus free cold water. Little things like that make the experience even better. A little tip: weekdays are a great time to visit. Parking was almost empty, and the food court felt extra spacious and relaxing. The photos below were taken on a Thursday around 4:30 PM. Such a lovely upgrade, and definitely still one of our favorites.
